Bringing the standards of India's premier institutions to patients who need it most, regionally — with honesty, precision, and the belief that treating cancer means treating the whole person.
Background
I am Dr. Aditya Pavan Kumar Kanteti, a Medical Oncologist with 7 years of specialised experience in oncology and 13 years in internal medicine.
My medical journey began at PGIMER, Chandigarh — one of India's most respected medical institutions — where I completed my MD in Internal Medicine. I then pursued my DM in Medical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India's foremost cancer centre. These formative years of training under some of the country's finest oncologists shaped not just my clinical skills, but my philosophy of cancer care.
Over the years, I have come to believe that treating cancer means treating the whole person — not just the disease. Many of my patients live with other health conditions alongside their cancer, and managing both simultaneously is something I consider an essential part of my responsibility, not an afterthought.
I believe every patient deserves honesty. From the moment of diagnosis, I sit with patients and their families to discuss the nature of the disease, the available treatment options, what outcomes are realistically expected, and what the financial journey ahead looks like — openly and without ambiguity. There should be no surprises along the way.
I am committed to making the best available care accessible — tailoring treatment decisions to what is genuinely achievable for each patient's circumstances, without compromising on quality where it matters most.
Cancer treatment is rarely a short journey. It demands months, sometimes years, of sustained care. For patients in smaller cities and towns, accessing quality oncology care close to home — without the burden of repeated travel to distant centres — makes an enormous difference, not just medically but emotionally and financially. My practice aims to bridge that gap, bringing the standards I trained for at India's premier institutions to the region I serve.
Whether you are at the beginning of a diagnosis, in the middle of treatment, or navigating life as a survivor — I am here to walk that journey with you.
